Independence Day

Here in Lake City Independence Day is what I would call a "hoot-n-holler" or a real good time. First of all, they have a parade. You know I LOVE parades. Second of all, we're surrounded by our sweet Ute Trail Family.

Third... they have turkey legs. My husband thought it was Instagram-worthy...

No one's going to deny a pregnant lady her turkey leg. Especially because it was grilled not fried, especially because the man cooking them used a meat thermometer, and especially because it was yummy... The baby wanted a turkey leg guys...

It was a beautiful day. Full of red, white, blue and independence. And Yankee Doodle on stilts and historical town criers...
