Playing for Keeps

So I had planned to share the second half of our vacation on the blog today. But there's kind of been an urgent matter. See Kyle rented the movie Playing for Keeps for us to watch last night. Best movie I've seen in a while. Not to mention I'd love for the people who dressed Jessica Biel in the movie to teach me how to shop (I never thought I'd notice the wardrobe in a movie, but really...)

Anyways, there's a song in the movie called After the Rain. The movie says it's performed by John Tremaine. so I headed to iTunes immediately to download it. Only I couldn't find it.

So I thought, well, I guess I'm going to need to buy this guy's entire album somewhere. So I googled him, you know, John Tremaine. And he doesn't exist. Like there's no sign of this guy anywhere. Eventually I found someone who was as desperate as me and pulled the song off the movie to this you tube video. Yes, you should watch it now (well unless you're at work and can't play music or something, or you're on your phone in an important meeting...)

Anyways, no kidding, check it out. It's a great song, this guy's got a great voice. And he apparently disappeared. Like I even went to MySpace's music section and nothing to be found.

Yes, it's okay to watch the video to hear the song again. I mean it plays in the credits of the movie, and it's nowhere.

So I'm going to need you to find it, yes, you with the tech skills. Who is this guy?
