Lamentations 3:22-24
22 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”

  2. Brittany & Kyle,
    We love you guys dearly. Your willingness to serve and heart for others shines through in our Sunday School class, in ministry areas within the church, and even now during what is probably the most difficult path you've had to walk in your life. I'm so grateful that I know in the depths of my heart that you both walk with God and that you are drawing strength and comfort from scripture. Ps. 34:18 God is near to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. All of us truly wish we could simply take it all away, but since God didn't give us that as an option, we will do all we can to bring comfort, love, weep with those who weep, and hold you up as you work through the grief and begin to find God's methods for healing your broken hearts. Please let us know how we can continue to minister and uphold. With much love, Misty & Scott Childs

  4. Brittany and Kyle, I live outside Boston, MA. I was just scrolling the Internet, got to your blog via your Dry Erase Board post and came to this announcement for Hannah Grace. Obviously, you don't know me, but I want to extend my deepest sympathies. Your pain is no doubt unfathomable, but your post leads me to believe you know the One who promises to be our comfort and refuge in times such as these. My prayers are and will be with you. And, I pray that when we are all with Him, we will meet, hug, and rejoice in Him forever. May He be ever-present with you now and always! Praise our Savior, Jesus Christ!
